Ticket Refund Process

Refunds are only possible before 18 October 2024.

If you have purchased a WordCamp Sydney2024 ticket but are unable to attend the event, we encourage you to either cancel your ticket or request a refund. This helps make tickets available to others on the waiting list and allows them to attend WordCamp Sydney 2024.

Cancelling your ticket and requesting a refund is an easy way to support your fellow members of the WordPress community.

How To Refund Your Ticket

To refund your ticket, there are four steps:

  1. Check your inbox
  2. Click on the link in your ticket purchase email
  3. Request a Refund
  4. Confirm and Complet

Step 1: Check your inbox

Search your email inbox for the subject line “Your Ticket to WordCamp Sydney, NSW, Australia 2024”. If you can’t find this email, please contact us, and we’ll resend it.

Step 2: Click on the link in the email

To get a refund for your purchased ticket, visit the ticket edit access link in your WordCamp Sydney 2024 ticket confirmation email.

Step 3: Request a Refund

Click the “request a refund” link on your ticket page.

Step 4: Confirm and Complete

After clicking on the request refund link, you will be taken to the refund request form. While including a reason for the refund is optional, you must check the “I agree to the above terms” checkbox and click the “Send Request” button to complete the process.

If you cannot request a refund, please contact us, and we will process it manually for you.

Please note that your refund may take a few days to process. When requesting a refund, please know that all tickets purchased together will be cancelled. We cannot provide partial refunds or transfer refunds to a different account. If you wish to proceed with the refund, please agree to these terms.

If you cancel your ticket, it will no longer be transferable or redeemable, as it will be added to the pool of available tickets that others can repurchase. Please carefully consider whether or not you will be able to attend the event before making any changes to your ticket, as transfers and cancellations may not be possible after the fact.

If you have been given a 100% discount code and have already redeemed your ticket for a specific purpose, please note that these tickets can only be cancelled. If you have any questions or need assistance with your ticket, please feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
